About Kerry

Kerry Schweigert - Psychologist/ Homoeopath B.Sc. (Hons) Dip Hom Med

Kerry has worked as a psychologist since graduating with a B.Sc. (Hons) in 1982, mainly with children with special needs and their families. Her work and life experience has led to a deep understanding of the intrinsic connection between the mind, body and emotions.
When all systems are in balance and harmony, life is good and there is a deep sense of wellbeing and health. However disturbances in the energetic balance between body mind and spirit can manifest in disturbances in physical, mental and emotional health such as mood swings, overwhelming emotions, behavioural changes and physical illnesses.
This is where Kerry’s training as a psychologist and homeopath offer a unique combination of skills that can bring about healing on all levels. She maintains a positive focus on developing new and functional coping skills to replace unhelpful behaviours and habits.

Homeopathy gave Kerry a more holistic way of understanding the needs of her clients. Since graduating as a Homoeopath in 2000, she has developed a general homoeopathic practice that combines the principals of homeopathy with her skills and experience as a psychologist.

Kerry has extensive experience in treating people facing difficulties with life situations (relationships, work, transitions), which are often associated with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, sleep disorders and physical illnesses. Her extensive experience working with children in a clinical setting is enhanced with the use of homeopathy in conjunction with behavioural strategies. Kerry has previously collaborated on developing a Children's Sleep Clinic that combined a behavioural and homoeopathic approach.

Kerry also has an interest in bringing Homeopathy to the wider community and is an active member of the Australian Homeopathic Association.
